General terms, privacy policy and personal data processing

1. About Us

DEFLECTOR Ltd. with company ID 204809970 and VAT registration number BG204809970 is an exclusive importer and distributor for the EU and online retailer of deflectors VIP Tuning and wind turbine Auto Plex. The address of our site is https://deflectors.eu. Our warehouse is located in: Bulgaria. Sofia, 1164, Krichim 65.

2. What personal data do we collect and why?

2.1. Order and Invoice Details

When visitors place an order on the site, we collect the data displayed on the order form and invoice. We use them only to correctly send the product they have ordered and issue the necessary invoice.

2.2. Reviews

When visitors leave comments on the site, the software module collects and analyzes the data displayed on the comments form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and user browser identifier to help detect spam.

An anonymous string based on your email address may be provided to the Gravatar service to verify that you are using it. Gravatar’s privacy Policy is here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once your comment is approved, your profile picture will be publicly visible to it.

2.3. Files

If you upload images to the site, you should avoid uploading images with built-in location data (EXIF GPS). Site visitors can download and retrieve location data from images on the site. For how we use the images you provided, see below.

2.4. Contact Forms/Your contact information

With your willingness and consent you can send a message to us through the contact form. It requires to provide an email address and names so that we can answer and assist you. You have the option to leave a phone number and attach files/photos. The form acts as an e-mail sender-we receive an email from you, in which the specified data is stored indefinitely. You can also send an email from your personal e-mail.

2.5. Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site, you can enable the retention of your name, email address and website in cookies. They are for your convenience, so you don’t have to fill in your data again when you leave another comment. These cookies will be kept for a year.

If you have an account and sign in to this site, we’ll ask a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie does not contain any personal information and is deleted when you close your browser.

When you sign in to your site, a few more cookies will keep your login information and preferences for what you see on the screen. Sign-in cookies expire in two days, and for screen preferences after a year. If you select the option to remember, your login information will be kept for two weeks. If you sign out of your account, your login cookies will be deleted.

If you edit or post an article an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. It will not contain any personal information, but will simply add the publication identifier you have just edited. Expires in one day.

2.6. Embed content from other websites

The articles on this site can be embedded (videos, images, content, etc.). Built-in content from other sites accepts and behaves with the visitor to the site as a visitor to your own site.

These sites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party statistics tools, monitor how you work with these tools, including how you consume embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to Site.

2.7. Analysis

We do not currently analyse the personal data we collect, except to process your order, so as to deliver the ordered product and issue the necessary invoice.

We use Google Analytics services that provide us with anonymized, aggregated data, but not personal ones.

3. Who do we share your data with?

We do not share your data outside of our company unless you have voluntarily provided us with photos of your vehicle with our product to demonstrate our products. Then we can upload these photos to our website, as well as other ads on other sites on the Internet, so that other customers who are considering buying our product can see them. We hide your vehicle registration numbers if you had requested this in the photos you provided to us before posting or sharing them with customers.

4. How long do we keep your personal data?

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so that we can automatically recognize and approve your follow-up comments instead of retain them in the approval queue.

For users who register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their profile. All users can view, edit or delete their personal information at any time (except that they cannot change their username). Website administrators can view and edit this information.

5. Your rights to your personal data

If you have an account on this site or left comments on it, you may request to receive a file containing all the data we hold about you, including data that you have provided to us. You may also ask us to erase the personal data we hold about you. However, this does not include data that we are required to store for administrative purposes, the security needs of the site, or by law.

6. How do we use your data?

Comments from visitors can be verified by an automatic checking service for spam comments.

The photos that you send us voluntarily to advertise our products, we can upload to our site, as well as in other advertisements on other sites on the Internet. We can also provide them to our customers who are looking for the same products that you have photographed on your cars. We always hide the license plate of your vehicle with Image editor software. Only then do we publish them.

7. Additional Information

7.1. How do we protect your personal data?

The data that we exchange our site with the clients are encrypted. Uploaded SSL Certificate and used HTTPS protocol. Other protections are also included to ensure that all data is securely protected.

7.2. Our personal data incident processes

We will notify you within 72 hours, as well as we will do our best to mitigate any possible risks. We will also notify the Bulgarian Commision for Protection of Personal Data no later than 72 hours after we have found out about the incident. We will document the violation, i.e. how it occurred, what the consequences are and what actions we have taken to deal with the violation.

7.3. From what other sources do we receive data

Google Analytics provides us with anonymous aggregated data, but not personal ones.

7.4. What automated actions and/or filtering based on personal information we perform with user data

We have not identified automatic actions and/or filtered based on personal information at this time.

7.5. Requirements of industry regulators for information disclosure

We comply with the legislation of the Republic of Bulgaria and the EU, and we would satisfy all legal claims for disclosure by the competent authorities.

8. Delivery

Delivery time depends on the location as we send worldwide – up to two motnhs. For estimates for your country, please contact us. Shipping to other countires different then Bulgaria will be charged in advance. It is a fixed amount for each country (some islands may require additional payment) and can be seen on the Order Completion Page (Checkout).
The discount on the delivery, mentioned on the site includes the lower amount deducted from the cash on delivery because it is paid by bank from the courier to us. The option to review and test applies is limited by the courier within the office and depends on their good location whether they will allow the removal from there for a test on the car. We accept responsibility and ask the offices to allow this upon request.

8. Inscriptions

The inscriptions on the goods are with the name of the model or indentation. Fonts vary. The clients can put whatever text they wish.

9. Refund and return of goods

Up to 14 days after receiving the product, the product can be returned, and we will refund its full value if it is returned to us without signs of use, in its original packaging, and with all attached components (such as fasteners).

In case of an issue, we will work with the customer to agree on a solution to the problem.
– If the product is “not defective”, the customer will cover the delivery cost.
– If the defect is established and proven through photos and videos, we will cover the delivery cost.
– If there is a slight cosmetic defect, we will offer a discount on the next purchase or provide a small gift. If you prefer to return the product due to the slight cosmetic defect, the delivery costs will be at your expense.

A product is considered “defective” if:
– It is broken or cracked.
– It cannot be installed (e.g., due to incorrectly positioned holes in the deflector).
– Its shape does not fit the cover in its front part at all (determined during or after attempted installation).

A slight “cosmetic defect” is defined as:
– A deep and long scratch on the visible (outer) part of the product after installation, with a depth of at least 1 mm and a length of more than 5 cm.

Minor imperfections, such as small scratches, dots, traces of stretch film or glue, or any marks on the underside of the product that are not visible after installation, are not considered defects.
